During this introductory phase, we’ll work together to examine all aspects of your property organisation: business activities, departments, roles and strategy. We’ll also explore the softer elements: what is the company’s mission? How would you describe your organisation’s culture? What exactly do your brand and reputation entail?
I’ll compile all this information into an appealing Employer Value Proposition – your company’s profile for your future employee. I’ll then carry out a competency analysis, drawing up a wish list of all the competencies your ideal candidate must possess. This will enable us to fine-tune the strategy together: what specific steps should we take to begin the search for your dream employee?

We translate the information from our in-depth analysis into a job advertisement. Drawing on my knowledge of the property market, market trends and what matters to candidates, I can advise your organisation on the key points and nuances that must be included. The job vacancy is published on our website and on social media, for example via advanced LinkedIn searches. In addition, I naturally delve into my own Rees database and Rees network. Both active and passive candidates are assessed. If I spot a potential candidate for your company, I’ll give them a call.

Interview
I invite suitable candidates for an interview. This takes place in a relaxed, open atmosphere. A two-way dialogue ensues, during which the candidates’ skills, experience and ambition are assessed against your organisation’s expectations. In doing so, I use the STARR technique (Situation, Task, Actions, Results, Reflection), a structured way of questioning the candidate about their behaviour and skills. I look for the candidate’s strengths, but their weaker points do not escape my attention either!
