Development Manager

Our client Patrizia has operations around the world offering investment opportunities in real estate and infrastruc-ture assets for institutional, semi-professional and private investors. Their activities include acquisition, as-set management, repositioning, development, and disposal of commercial and residential real estate. Bel-gian and Luxembourg activities are centralized in Brussels CBD with a local managed portfolio of €1 billion in assets located in Belgium and Luxemburg. With two significant development projects in Brussels, we are looking to expand the Real Estate Development (RED) team. 


You will manage the development of two large and complex, office focussed refurbishment projects within a defined process which meets the aspirations of all project stakeholders. You will report to the London Office regarding the project progress .

You are the day to day contact with the asset- and fund management team for each of  the respective projects and continue to build upon the existing strong relationships with fund management and  investors.

You are the SPOV for the  internal and external members of the project team. 

You will manage the project timelines, by identifying potential risks and issues for mitigation.

You have the budgetary responsibility, and you will oversee the corresponding financial reporting. 

You will assist in compilation of Investment Committee papers where relevant. 

You will prepare the technical and environmental due diligence reporting. 
 
You will develop Quality Management Plans to ensure all aspects of project delivery is done. 

 

You will have more than 10 years of relevant experience in project development. 

You are familiar with various aspects of the project such as concept, permit processes and feasibility studies. You have experience of development in office real estate.

You have relevant building technical expertise.  

You have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work within a complex international institutional structure.
 
The multitude of contacts with internal and external stakeholders requires excellent communication, networking & negotiation skills in Dutch/French and English. 

You have the ability to communicate effectively internally with all colleagues and externally with key stakeholders. 

Preferably you are in possession of an a Master degree.
